On Tuesday evening we had our first club competition of the year, “Irish Heritage” for Roland Bainbridge memorial trophy.
We had great entry of 27 images 9 more than last year, a mixture of colour and mono from both novice and advanced workers.
As this was an internal club competition, we judged it ourselves.
This gave the members an opportunity to get a close look at the prints and each chose their top 5.
We had comments on the prints from 8 members, something which demonstrated that everyone sees something different.
After tea John Hill commented on each in turn and highlighted that after hearing the comments of others he looked at some images differently
The results were as follows:
1st: Vittorio : 23 points
J 2nd: Eugen Baban : 20 points
J 2nd: Kieran Close : 20 points
