About

The CPA Camera Club is one of the oldest in Northern Ireland, dating back to 1906. We’re delighted to have finished the 2022/23 season as Top Club in the Northern Ireland Photographic Association (NIPA), winning both the Principal and Novice sections of the WEX Interclub Competition. This is a position we last attained in 2017/18, having finished in third place in 2021/22 and second place in 2020/21.

Our aim is to promote photography and to assist those with an interest in photography, no matter how basic, no matter which medium, film or digital; everyone is welcome.

Anyone, from beginner to advanced worker, is invited to join us and benefit from the many demonstrations and lectures arranged for our members.

Meetings are held each Tuesday at 7:30 pm from September to May in our club rooms in the Morton Community Centre, Lorne Street (off Lisburn Road), Belfast. During the COVID-19 pandemic when restrictions closed the club rooms, our meetings continued virtually using Zoom video conferencing.

The Committee are working to put together a new programme of events for the 2023/24 season, with a mix of lectures, practical sessions and competitions. Please see the Programme page for more information.
