Recently five CPA members joined a group led by the well-known nature photographer Robert Thompson on a trip to Great Saltee Island, off the coast of Wexford. It was fairly intensive with four trips out to the island over the space of 48 hours, not to mention some challenging weather conditions. It was very enjoyable, however, and our thanks go out to Robert for sharing his extensive knowledge. These images taken on the trip should give you a feel for life on an island inhabited only by thousands of seabirds.
