It was with great pleasure that CPA welcomed both members and non-members to hear renowned Northern Ireland landscape photographer Chris Ibbotson. Chris took us on both a personal and photographic journey along the northern coast of Ireland, from Fanad to Torr Head. He focussed mainly on evening and early morning sea and landscapes, with special emphasis on long exposure techniques. Chris finished off with some experimental photography using light painting, wire wool, electro-luminescence and some early explorations into Astro and Aurora photography. Chris was very open about locations and techniques and demonstrated his skill with the camera as well as being a great teacher.
