NIPA RD2 – Open

On Tuesday we had the second round of the NIPA competitions for this season. This was an open round.

Our judge for the evening was Mark Allen from Bangor Camera Club.

While the entry for our first round was impressive, this round was even more so.

We had 30 mono, 46 colour and 55 PDIs, Mark had a big job to do.

Mark commented on all the mono entry, giving good constructive feedback, explaining the positive in each print and then commenting on how he thought a print could be improved, if at all.

He commented on most of the colour prints and PDIs in the same way, only our time constraints stopping him from commenting on them all.

Many thanks Mark for your time and effort.

Congratulations to Paul Hanley on his clean sweep in the mono section and to Robert Sergeant (new member this year) on a clean sweep of novice entries.
