We had our first weekend trip of the summer on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July when we visited the North Coast. Starting in Ballycastle on Saturday morning we gradually worked our way round the coast with stops at Pan’s Rocks, Bonamargy Friary, Bushmills, Portballintrae, Larrybane, Carrick-a-Rede, Ballintoy, Elephant Rock, Kinbane Castle, Dunluce Castle, Portrush, Barmouth, Downhill and Binevenagh. It was a bit of mix and match, with not everyone doing all locations, but with smaller groups heading off to see the sights of their choice before meeting up again. All in all it worked extremely well and everyone had a great time. So much so there are now plans afoot for a weekend on the West Coast in August!
