The results of the 2017 Belfast Zoo Annual Photographic Competition have been announced and it again proved a very successful event for a CPA member. William Allen took second place in the Best photo taken by a club photographer category last year whilst his son Alexander won the Best picture taken by an under 16 section.
This year William matched his second place but added a highly commended in the same category, first place and highly commended in the Best black and white picture category and first place and highly commended in the Best picture of our primate heroes category. Alexander again won the junior category and added a highly commended.
First place and overall winner of the Best photo taken by a club photographer category went to Joe Beattie from Carrickfergus Camera Club. Joe also had a highly commended in the same category and third place in the Black and white category. Any of our members who attend the adjudication events will know Joe as a very valued member of the NIPA team.
