On Tuesday 5th September we welcomed Robert Thompson FRPS FIPF to CPA. As we had such a distinguished speaker for our opening night, we decided to open the event to guests as well as our members and we were pleased to welcome members from BPIC, City of Belfast, Enniskillen, Focus and Westcourt camera clubs.
Robert covered a wide-range of topics, with landscape and aerial photography as well as the nature photography for which he is so well known. His close-up and macro work is amazing to see and I’m sure inspired all those present.
Robert very generously brought along six of his books which were raffled at the end of the evening, everyone having been given a raffle ticket on arrival. We were delighted to see such an even spread of members and guests benefitting from his generosity. Thank you for kicking the 2017/18 season off in style, Robert.
