Dear NIPA Secretaries,
Please find attached ‘advance notice flyer’ For the RFNHMC for dissemination to your members. Please note the change of location, date and time. It has been moved to the Island View Room at the Oxford Island Discovery centre just off junction 10 on the M1. Hopefully this location will prove more accessible to all camera club members. The event will run from 11am to 5pm and our eminent judge will be Robert Thompson FRPS FIPF. There will be events happening throughout the day – watch this space.
The entry fee will remain at £1 per print/PDI and the closing date for entries will be Council meeting 17th September 2015.
The rules have been changed this year by NIPA council and are in line with the current IPF and PAGB rules on nature photography and there are also a copy of those attached.
One thing we would ask this year is that the entrants try to label their prints/pdi’s with factual titles as per all other nature competitions (i.e. nesting Gannet, or nesting Morus bassanus) – help with proper names can be found at our ‘NIPA Nature Group’ Facebook page and if not then title would read i.e. ( nesting seabird).
